Hello

Ok, so I've decided to start a blog and post things that are going on in our daily lives. I know, I know, you never thought I would do something like this. Well, I don't really have the time but I thought it would be kind of fun for everyone to keep up with us this way.

Presents from Santa

Yes, Santa did get Tagge an Air Soft Gun. With strict instructions to always follow the rules and never shoot it inside.

"Dad, you can tell me if you and mom are Santa, I won't be upset" Tagger asked Jeremy.
"Tagger, I already told you that you couldn't have a gun so it must be Santa because I wouldn't have gotten that for you." Jeremy replies.
"I guess you're right. Santa is really cool!" Tagge says and walks away.

What would we do without our Tagger.

No, Santa didn't forget about Scott. Got him a Air Soft Rifle.

Look! A little rc car to put in the back of my big one and drive around!

You can't tell that Tagge is excited about the Nerf gun. Course he hasn't gotten to the Air Soft Gun yet so this was pretty exciting. And he can shoot this one inside all he wants.

Christmas Morning

Tagger got a remote control Helicopter

Scott has to check everything out on his new RC car that Santa got for him.

So EXCITED! "Can't believe Santa got me what I wanted for Christmas!"

Tagger has been wanting this game for a while now and asked Santa for it.

So many things to look at.

Christmas In Las Vegas

Waiting for Santa to come.

He found us even in a hotel!

Brand new Bamboo longboard skateboards. Just what they asked for. Now please take good care of them.

Hunting for Crabs

Of course our favorite thing to do when we go to the beach is to look in the tide pools for crabs, shells and fish.

Tagge's Spring School Picture

We totally did not plan for both Scott and Tagge to be wearing the same shirts but it was a nice surprise when we realized that they had. Couldn't ask for cuter boys!

Scott's Spring School Pictures

The boys really had fun with the spring pictures. The photographer used a green background and then we got to pick the background that we wanted. And of course I let the boys decide on the background that they wanted. But I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. Of course, I'm a little biased.

Legoland

We could really have used two full days at Legoland. There was so much to see and for two boys that are really into legos right now there wasn't enough time to look at all the cool lego creations and ride all the rides.

Tagge On Space Mountain

Ok, the blank expression on Tagge's face says it all. This has got to be my favorite picture from the whole trip. It's like he's not sure what he should be thinking. He totally loved the ride and we ended up going on it again.

Scott On Space Mountain

Can you see Scott in the 3rd row back just looking around like this is a regular car ride. He did say when he got off that he thought he was going to cry so maybe it did scare him a little bit but you'd never know it.

Family Pictures @ Disneyland

It's a good thing we did this first thing when we got here because after all the rides I'm pretty sure we probably all looked pretty haggard.

Disneyland

The boys are obviously thrilled to be at Disneyland and of course you can't take a normal picture when you have two boys who are into wrestling and karate.

The Mud Hole

Of course we couldn't just keep the mud on ourselves and the yard we had to get any bucket and truck we could find and get it all covered also. Thank goodness they are outside toys.

Our New Mud Hole

The boys decided that they were bored and wanted to make mud pies- how typical. So they dragged the hose to the back half of the yard and this is what was created. They came in covered from head to toe with mud and had a fabulous day in the sun.

Ducks At Sea World

The boys were having fun taking pictures at Sea World. I let them use one of my old cameras and I've never seen them so excited to take pictures.

Grandma And Grandpa Finney

This was the picture taken by Tagger of Grandma and Grandpa Finney at Sea World from our trip down there.

Update on the Cedar Finney's

Ok, I know, I've been horrible about keeping this up to date. In the next couple of days I'll get some pictures posted from our recent trip to California. We went to Disneyland, Legoland and to Sea World so there are plenty of pictures from those. We also spent some time with Grandpa and Grandma Finney which was nice.
We're all doing well. School for the boys is going great. Tagge has started reading already- remember that he's only in kindergarten. So we are way excited about that. Scott has been learning by leaps and bounds this year. He has just passed off his math challenge one and is feeling pretty cool about that. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I was offered a job working out at the school being an aide so I am out there full time now and work at Home Depot on Saturdays.
Jeremy is keeping more than busy. He has almost completed the project out in Kanab and will be going to work with a group in La Verkin. We're excited to have him a little closer to home. He'll be able to come home more often and it's close enough we can go and visit him more.
So there you have it. That's our life in a nutshell. I'll post more over the next week.
